Belgijski black/sludge/death metal band Predatory Void je objavil prvi del inštalacije z naslovom Live at dunk!studios. Za ta projekt je zasedba v živo v Dunkstudios posnela pesmi s svojega prvenca Seven Keys to the Discomfort of Being. Pri snemanju sta pomagala Jannes Van Rossom in Tim De Gieter. Posneta je bila tudi posebna akustična različica pesmi Seeds of Frustration, ki jo izvajata samo Lennart Bossu (kitara) in Lina R. (vokal).

Nemci Endseeker so konec preteklega tedna izdali že četrti studijski album Global Worming. Ob izdaji so objavili tudi videospot za naslovni komad.

Ameriški progresivni death metalci Job for a Cowboy bodo drugo leto, natančneje 24. februarja, po desetih letih premora izdali svoj peti dolgometražec, ki bo slišal na ime Moon Healer. Od osmih sta že znana dva komada:

Ameriški heavy/doom metalci Cirith Ungol so naznanili, da s koncem leta 2024 ne bodo več koncertirali. Tukaj izjava banda:

»After careful deliberation, we have decided that 2024 will be the final year that Cirith Ungol will be performing live. Having taken a 25 year long hiatus, we could never have imagined the tidal wave of love and support that would come from all of you upon our return. From the bottom of our hearts, we would like to thank every one of you, who has attended our shows and supported our music.
