Ob 30. obletnici delovanja so se italijanski black metalci Frostmoon Eclipse odločili, da znova posnamejo prvenec Gathering the Dark. To so naredili s pomočjo založbe Immortal Frost Productions, ki je včeraj premierno predstavila album v YouTubu. Fizične različice albuma bodo na voljo komaj konec novembra.

Danska black metal zasedba Solbrud je po 15 letih delovanja in štirih albumih prenehala delovati. Vzrok naj bi bil pomanjkanje motivacije, spodaj pa lahko preberete izjavo banda v celoti.

»Time for some sad news everyone: We have decided to end all activities with Solbrud and are disbanding now. Sorry to disappoint you all but it's the end of the road for us.

The reasons are many - in short we just can't really find the spirit and motivation required to keep this ship running the way it's supposed to. Until recently we had big plans for an upcoming album with David showing the rest of the world what a good match he was with Solbrud. But eventually we couldn’t find the energy to go through with it. We know that David at the moment is working on a solo project and hope y’all will give it a spin when it comes out.

Švedski death metalci Vanhelgd predstavljajo komad Kom dödens tysta ängel s prihajajočega studijskega dolgometražca Atropos Doctrina, ki ga bodo 12. julija izdali pri Dark Descent Records. Njihov šesti album obsega komade:

Ameriški tehnični death metalci Vale Of Pnath, v obliki videospota predstavljajo komad Soul Offering, ki je del tretjega albuma Between the Worlds of Life and Death, ki bo izšel 24. maja pri Willowtip Records.

Švedski viking/folk black metalci Månegarm so razkrili, da že nekaj časa pripravljajo material za nov album. Sedaj pa sporočajo, da so že v studiu in snemajo komade za dvanajsti studijski album. Več informacij za zdaj še ni znanih.

Italijanski black metalci Frostmoon Eclipse bodo znova izdali prvenec Gathering The Dark iz leta 2001. Komadi so seveda »olepšani« z novim masteringom in tukaj lahko prisluhnete prvemu izmed njih, Worms of Mankind.

Nizozemski deathcorovci Distant, ki so lani skupaj z domačimi Within Destruction izdali video za komad Exofilth 2.0, predstavljajo nov single Loveless Suffering. Video za komad je nastal v sodelovanju s producentom Alanom Grnjo.

Ukrajinski thrash/death metalci Hell:On so razkrili He with the Horse's Head, drugi single s prihajajočega albuma Shaman, ki izide 17. maja pri Archivist Records. Tracklista:
