»The album is an accidental concept born from the first session we managed to play together after a long and frustrating break necessitated by lockdowns, band members in high risk categories, and mental illness. Without looking for it we found death, isolation, boredom, uncertainty, rage, and an energy that we decided instantly to try to capture and preserve as it was. No additives, no major editing. In the uncertainty of the times, we began to collect recording equipment, slowly transforming our rehearsal space into a recording studio. We developed a ritual of playing and replaying, without click, the whole 27 minutes, until we got better than close to the original, to the perfect simulacra. There is a bonus track included in the album called '10 Hygiea' that is part of the soundtrack of 'Music Appreciation', a short horror movie we collaborated with.«

Progresivni death metal duet Iapetus sporoča, da je podpisal pogodbo z založbo Willowtip Records. Band je trenutno v fazi priprave materiala za tretji album, spodaj pa lahko preberete izjavo banda ob začetku sodelovanja z novo založbo:

Mednarodna zasedba Power Concept, ki jo sestavljajo srbski vokalist Branislav Belošević (ex-Analni Karakter, ex-Pathological Splatter, ex-Sarcomman, ex-Malkuth), ameriška basist Gavin Brooks (0% Hate) in bobnar Kevin Talley (Dååth, Feared, ex-Dying Fetus, ex-Misery Index, ex-Six Feet Under ...) in madžarski kitarist Henrik Sandor, je konec prejšnjega leta objavila EP z naslovom Anthropocentricity (brezplačno ga lahko prenesete s te lokacije), njegov naslednik, ki bo nosil naslov Inhuman Compatible, pa naj bi izšel že aprila letos. Po izidu se bo zasedba posvetila pripravi prvenca.

Ameriški southern hard rock/metal kvartet 4Mag Nitrous trenutno pripravlja nov videospot za skladbo Pillars Of Strength, ki se nahaja na tretjem studijskem albumu z naslovom Electric Conception, izdanem letos poleti. Albumu lahko v celoti prisluhnete na Bandcampu in vseh ostalih digitalnih platformah.

Ameriška heavy/doom metal zasedba Grief Collector, ki jo vodi vokalist Robert Lowe (Tyrant, ex-Candlemass, ex-Solitude Aeturnus, ex-Concept Of God), je objavila dražilnik za prihajajoči studijski prvenec z naslovom En Delirium. Album naj bi izšel marca prihodnje leto pri Petrichor/Hammerheart Records.

Ameriška heavy/doom metal zasedba Grief Collector je podpisala za založbo Petrichor, pri kateri bo marca prihodnje leto izdala studijski prvenec z naslovom En Delirium.

Grief Collector sestavljajo vokalist Robert Lowe (Tyrant, ex-Candlemass, ex-Solitude Aeturnus, ex-Concept Of God), kitarist/basist Matt Johnson (Signs Of Reign, ex-Scream At The Sun) in bobnar Brad Miller (ex-Among The Serpents).

Grindcore veterani Venomous Concept se vračajo z novim albumom Politics Versus The Erection, ki mu že lahko v celoti prisluhnete na tej povezavi. Album bo izšel jutri pri založbi Season Of Mist.

11. septembra bo tehnična death metal zasedba Spectrum Of Delusion izdala svoj drugi studijski album Neoconception. Ta bo izšel pri The Artisan Era, tukaj pa lahko prisluhnete komadu Into Another Formation.

Insidious Disease predstavljajo skladbo Enforcers Of The Plague, prvi single s prihajajočega studijskega albuma After Death, ki bo izšel pri založbi Nuclear Blast Records. Naslovnico je tokrat prispeval legendarni Dan Seagrave (Dismember, Entombed, Decrepit Birth, Gorguts, Morbid Angel, Suffocation).

Death metal superskupino sestavljajo Silenoz (Dimmu Borgir, ex-Nocturnal Breed) na kitari, Groo (Despair, ex-Morgoth, ex-Power Of Expression) na vokalu, Tony Laureano (ex-Nile, ex-Dimmu Borgir, ex-Brujeria, ex-Malevolent Creation) na bobnih, Shane Embury (Napalm Death, Brujeria, Venomous Concept) na basu in Cyrus (Susperia, ex-Sarke, ex-Dimmu Borgir) na drugi kitari.
